Thirteen scrap-metal collectors in northeast Nigeria’s Borno state were killed when a bomb they excavated blew up, security sources said on Tuesday. The UN on Monday accused government forces in the Central African Republic of training militias and working with private military companies behind possible war crimes and crimes against humanity. At least 34 people died on Sunday night in central Kenya after a bus carrying passengers fell off a bridge.
