VIP JEOUN Transport has reaffirmed its commitment to legal, ethical, and safe operations, issuing a firm warning against the use of its terminals and vehicles for transporting banned or illicit substances.
In a statement released Monday, the company highlighted a rise in the trafficking of concealed and illegal goods via public transport, as well as a growing trend of unauthorized operators branding their coaches with the “VIP” inscription. VIP JEOUN cautioned that such misuse not only deceives the public but also damages its decades-long reputation.
The company emphasized a zero-tolerance policy toward criminal activity, pledging to report offenders to relevant authorities immediately. VIP JEOUN also warned that all parcels sent through its services may be opened in the presence of the sender prior to dispatch.
VIP JEOUN thanked the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) and the Kaneshie Divisional Police Command for their continued support. In collaboration with the Ghana Police Service’s National SWAT, the company has intensified surveillance operations to detect and deter illegal activity. Authorities, including the Ghana Police Service and the National Road Safety Authority, are urged to take action against vehicles falsely bearing the VIP brand.
The company reaffirmed its dedication to passenger safety, security, and comfort, while safeguarding the integrity of the VIP JEOUN brand.
