Morocco’s national football team has stepped up preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with an intensive training session held on Wednesday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat, just days before the tournament kicks off.
The Atlas Lions are set to open their AFCON campaign next Sunday against Comoros at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, and all selected players were present as training unfolded in a focused and upbeat atmosphere, reflecting growing confidence within the camp.
Head coach Walid Regragui placed emphasis on tactical and technical drills, while also strengthening team cohesion and match intensity. The session allowed the technical staff to assess players’ understanding of game plans and fine-tune final details ahead of the opening fixture.
Midfielder Anass Salah Eddin said the squad is fully committed and ready for the challenge ahead, stressing unity and determination as key strengths going into the tournament.
Morocco, competing as hosts, continues its build-up under strict discipline, with expectations high that the Atlas Lions can make a strong start and mount a serious challenge for the continental title at AFCON 2025.
