U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has convened an international gathering of policymakers, diplomats and technology leaders under her “Fostering the Future Together” initiative, urging stronger global collaboration to prepare young people for a rapidly evolving digital world.
The high-level event brought together representatives from more than 40 countries, alongside executives from major tech firms, with discussions centered on artificial intelligence in education, digital tools, online safety and improving digital literacy.
A highlight of the summit was the presentation of Figure 03, a U.S.-developed humanoid robot, symbolizing the growing role of advanced technologies in shaping education systems worldwide.
Among prominent attendees were Olena Zelenska, Brigitte Macron, and Sara Netanyahu, reflecting broad international engagement with the initiative.
Addressing participants, Melania Trump called on governments to strengthen partnerships, invest in digital learning infrastructure and implement forward-looking policies that can equip younger generations with the skills required for the future.
The initiative, first introduced during the United Nations General Assembly in September 2025, aims to support children in adapting to the demands of a digital era. Wednesday’s meeting focused on translating those ambitions into practical outcomes, including regional cooperation, research support and policy development.
Participants were encouraged to expand the initiative through localized discussions and to accelerate efforts that can transform its goals into concrete educational programs.
