The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out a series of precision airstrikes in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley and northern regions, targeting multiple Hezbollah facilities, including a military compound and a precision missile manufacturing site.
According to an official statement, the operation was guided by IDF intelligence and aimed at neutralizing Hezbollah’s growing military infrastructure in the area. The strikes reportedly hit a terrorist training compound in Beqaa, where Hezbollah operatives were identified, as well as a site involved in the production of precision-guided missiles.
Additional strikes were reported on Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in Sharbine, northern Lebanon. The IDF described the operations as part of ongoing efforts to prevent the militant group from expanding its missile capabilities and operational reach.
The escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions, as Israel continues to confront Hezbollah activities along its northern border following months of cross-border exchanges.
No official statement has been released by Hezbollah as of press time, and details on casualties remain unclear.
