The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, His Excellency Frank-Walter Steinmeier, will arrive in Ghana on Sunday, November 2, 2025, for a three-day State Visit aimed at deepening the long-standing diplomatic and development partnership between Ghana and Germany.
During his stay, President Steinmeier will engage in several high-level meetings and activities in Accra and Kumasi. On the final day of his visit, Tuesday, November 4, he is expected to travel to Kumasi, where he will perform a sod-cutting ceremony at the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI).
He will also interact with the Vice Chancellor, staff, and alumni of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and later visit the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR), known for its critical role in health and scientific research.
As part of his itinerary, the German President will pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace before his scheduled departure from Ghana on Tuesday evening.
