This man, is the Municipal Chief Executive Officer of Oforikrom Municipal Assembly, Hon. Sadat Anwel Ahmed.
This problem was rectified after he paid a working visit to the area to ascertain the situation upon complaints of the disturbing outcome.
Hon. Sadat did not sleep on the matter however, he sanctioned the Municipal Engineering team to visit the area and addressed the situation to avert disaster by removing the exposed electrical wires from the Footbridge and light polls.
The swift intervention, according to the MCE, is to ensure the safety of his people especially pedestrians who use the Footbridge.
The situation is a concern to traders and drivers, however, they lauded Hon. Sadat for his good leadership intervention aiming at bringing safety to them residents.
