The Indian Ocean archipelago of the Comoros has insisted it will not accept migrants expelled from the neighbouring French island of Mayotte. Gunfire continued in Khartoum on Saturday morning after Sudan’s top general, Abdel Fattah Burhan, declared the military’s commitment to a civilian-led government.
