In a community, the peace and security of its residents are paramount. Unfortunately, when unlawful actions disrupt this harmony, it becomes essential for local leaders to intervene and address the situation.
However, Nana Owusu, a respected Nkosuohene (development Chief) in the Ahinsan Estate community, is currently facing a significant challenge with an unlawful resident, Dr. Abu Bonsera, who has taken possession of a portion of Ahinsan Estate streets as bona fide property, causing distress and concern in the community.
Ahinsan: Nkosuohene Battles With Unlawful Resident Barricading Streets With Sand
Recently, according to Nana Owusu, Dr. Abu Bonsra has used sand and fence wall to barricade a street sharing boundary with Nana Owusu and other residents, distracting movement of residents despite several complaints from Nana Owusu and some residents within the area.
Nana Owusu went further to explain that, he has reported the incident to Asokwa Municipal Assembly for redress, but couldn’t yield result and as a traditional title holder, he cannot take the law into his hands and cause mayhem. Thus, entreating government officials in the constituency to draw the attention of Dr. Abu Bonsera about his distructive conduct.

The disturbing situation of Dr. Abu Bonsra raises very serious security concerns for community members who live there and calls for immediate intervention to safeguard the peace and security of the community.

Nana Owusu revealed that Dr. Abu Bonsra inactions is not just an issue of unlawful resident; it goes deeper, affecting the entire fabric of the community.
“My concern of Dr. Abu Bonsra’s action is hindering emergency services from accessing roads and movement where barricade streets can delay emergency service”…and must as a matter of urgency comply with the rules and guidelines of Ahinsan Estate and follow same to avoid disunity.
