Koranteng, who had reportedly fled to the United Kingdom after Suale\u2019s assassination in Madina, Accra, was apprehended at a salon in Amasaman-Adease upon his return to Ghana.<\/p>\n
Police sources indicate that Koranteng\u2019s name had surfaced in ongoing investigations into Suale\u2019s killing, which remains unresolved. Authorities believe his release of images of the journalist to a politician could have played a role in exposing Suale\u2019s identity and movements before the fatal shooting.<\/p>\n
Suale, a key member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas\u2019 investigative team at Tiger Eye P.I, was shot multiple times by unidentified gunmen while driving in Madina. His death sparked international outcry over press freedom and safety for journalists in Ghana.<\/p>\n
Koranteng is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations. Officials have not disclosed which politician allegedly received the photos or whether further arrests are expected.<\/p>\n
